Sussac
A holiday home just a stone's throw away from a bathing lake in a lush green setting! House The house is located in the village of Sussac. It is hidden by the hedge at the front. You enter the house through the terrace. The living space (~24 sqm) has two French doors opening onto the terrace, a wood stove in the middle to heat the room, and a kitchen area. Behind the kitchen, there is a narrow bathroom equipped with a shower cabin, toilet, and sink. The master bedroom (~9.5 sqm) is situated on the garden side. The other two bedrooms (5.60 sqm and 4 sqm) are in the extension (2008) on the other side of the living space. The terrace, an extension of the living space, faces southwest and overlooks the lake and the lush surroundings. A view that never gets old! There is a sunshade for when the sun shines too brightly. The basement primarily serves as storage space as the height difference makes the garage inaccessible to a car. Next to the garage door, an additional bedroom has been created. It is only accessible from the garage. There is no internal staircase from the living space. The freezer, washing machine, and boiler are also located in the basement. Garden The total land area is 3,220 sqm. The fenced part is approximately 2,600 sqm. The rest is part of the public road that runs along the land to the west. The garden is sloping. On the east side, there is a raised terrace that has seen better days. There are several trees and bushes in the garden: there is always a spot of shade or sun to be found. On the south side, there is a shed with a tiled roof. It is an ideal place to store firewood. Facilities The lake with a view offers a small sandy beach and an outdoor mini-golf course. You can start the day with a refreshing morning swim or seek the coolness of the water in between. For hikers and cyclists, the region also has a lot to offer: there are many trails to explore to fully enjoy the beautiful Limousin countryside. The village of Sussac no longer has any shops. For that, you need to go to the neighboring village of Châteauneuf la Forêt, accessible in 10 minutes. This village has a large supermarket, bakeries, shops, and restaurants. Châteauneuf la Forêt also has a bathing lake. You can also visit the small town of Eymoutiers, located about the same distance away. The city center of Limoges, with its old streets and lively shopping center, is accessible in 45 minutes. The commercial area in the south of the city, with its large supermarket, is just over 30 minutes away. Thoughts on Price: The property is priced at 115,000 which is a reasonable price for a holiday home in such a beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and surrounded by lush greenery. The additional features such as the wood stove, terrace, and garden add value to the property. The proximity to amenities in nearby villages and towns makes it a convenient and desirable location for both holidaymakers and permanent residents.
