Pézenas
In the heart of a charming village near Pézenas, in the Hérault region, you will find this beautifully restored large mansion of around 600 sqm. Situated in the center of the village, with a lovely terrace enclosed by old gates and a majestic fig tree, this 19th century property has been completely renovated. The facade features numerous wooden windows and French doors, spread across three levels. The wrought iron balconies and railings, adorned with Greek-like friezes, perfectly complement the classic facade. The natural stone cornices provide a unique finishing touch to the house, replacing the usual decorative trim. The traditional terracotta canal tiles cover the roofs. The entrance, accessible from the cobblestone street, features an antique door with glass panels, flanked by stone pillars topped with Ionic capitals. Above them, there is a cornice with dentils that supports a cantilevered balcony on the first floor. In addition to the main building, there is an adjacent structure in need of renovation at the back, which can be accessed through a small alley. Behind a large wooden gate, this space with a mezzanine can be used for storage and parking of vehicles. Considering the size, location, and quality of restoration, the asking price of 520,000 seems reasonable for this unique property with plenty of potential.
