Located in the south of Mayenne, close to Sablé-sur-Sarthe, this castle, its outbuildings, and equestrian facilities are set on 19 hectares of land. A country road leads to a winding driveway that takes you to the castle. To the south, two large outbuildings are lined up. The first one is fully renovated, while the second one offers a spacious cathedral ceiling. Behind them, not visible from the castle, there is a former barn that can be converted into living space, as well as equestrian buildings and facilities including a lunging ring bordered by a stable and a tack room, a riding arena, and a second stable. Another entrance provides access to them as well. The castle likely dates back to the 16th century, with an old L-shaped main building and two towers, which were renovated in the 19th century, adding bay windows and extending the southern gable. Built with stone rubble covered in traditional lime plaster, the castle features tuffeau stone window frames, cornices, and dormer windows. It spans three levels, including an attic, topped with a hipped slate roof. The two towers are crowned with pepperpot roofs. Surrounded by a wooded park with a majestic and unique chestnut tree, the castle overlooks vast horse pastures. An herb-lined driveway to the east leads past mirabelle trees to a small pond surrounded by a forest. As for the price of this property, the asking price of 1,000,000 seems fair considering the extensive land and top-notch facilities included in the estate. This unique property offers a mix of history, charm, and modern amenities, making it a rare find in the market.
