Ourol
This unique property in Ourol consists of two buildings with historical significance. Although currently not in use, the structures have sturdy walls and roofs. The land features a well-maintained stone channel that runs through it, preventing waterlogging and providing a picturesque setting. The main house, dating back to 1902, boasts a ground floor used for kitchen and stables, a first floor for living space, and an attic. With a total surface area of 223 square meters, the property also includes two ovens, an old smithy, a threshing area, and two outbuildings. Additionally, the property includes a third part ownership of a flour mill, although it is no longer operational due to an expired water permit. The sawmill and carpentry workshop are connected to a canal fed by a small dam on the river. Inside the house, there is a preserved cooker for feeding pigs, as well as an old loom in one of the outbuildings. The property has a rich history of self-sufficiency, with past honey production from numerous beehives on site. The owner also has 11 separate plots of land totaling 31 hectares (77 acres) between the municipalities of Ourol and Muras, which could be purchased separately. Most of the land consists of timber and hillsides, offering potential for a variety of uses. Priced at 260,000€, this property presents a unique opportunity for restoration and development in a tranquil riverside setting.
