Une belle cheminée monumentale où plus dun sanglier et poulardes ont dû rôtir !Au sol, nous distinguons encore louverture des silos à grains.Un mur de refend sépare cette entrée dune autre pièce, où se trouve lescalier pour accéder à létage. Une belle double porte cintrée exposée sud apporte une grande luminosité à cet espace. On devine également, une ancienne ouverture au nord, aujourdhui condamnée, mais facilement réutilisable.Au premier niveau, nous retrouvons la même distribution quau rez-de-chaussée, ainsi quune deuxième cheminée de belle taille, en pierre dont le linteau a été restauré.Au deuxième et dernier niveau, nous voici en place et lieu où les protecteurs de la bourgade surveillaient larrivée des éventuels assaillants. CEst un poste dobservation incroyable, avec une vue époustouflante !Charpente et couverture ont été refaites entièrement, sous contrôle dun architecte du patrimoine et pour lequel, nous avons obtenu un prix décerné par la Société Arquéologique du Gers. CEst aussi le niveau le plus vaste, grâce à cet encorbellement qui repose comme on peut le voir depuis lextérieur, sur les corbeaux en pierres dorigine.LA Maison Du XVIIIÈMEProche de la tour, une maison de plain pied datant du XVIIIème siècle.
